Who are we?
Established in 1984, Eagle Works is a community of Fine Artists working from Victoria House, on the roof of the Mander Centre, Wolverhampton 📍
Believed to be the longest-running self-funded artist studio group in the UK, Eagle Works previously resided in a Victorian factory building on Wolverhampton's Great Brickkiln Street until 2020.
When we sadly needed to vacate the original premises, we relocated as a collective into Victoria House. Our new home, on the roof of a central city shopping centre, offers us scope to rethink the future of our space and how we interact with the city.

Currently housing 15 artists, we hope to soon offer further studio space as well as a public-facing project space, bookable for workshops, exhibitions and the documentation of work.

Oh, Now You Love Us?
Marley Starskey Butler
Commissioned as part of our Dwelling Programme, 'Oh, Now You Love Us?' is a presentation of excerpts from in-progress works by artist Marley Starskey Butler. Exploring tensions and contradictions between creative play, hostile architecture in civic spaces, and the extraction and use of cultural capital developed on the street as an unformatted stage - a playground for practitioners of architectural play who use mediums such as BMX bikes.
Visit by appointment until 15 January 2025.

Eagle Works studios are a supportive community of peers, rather than spaces used in isolation. Our collective is formed by full-time artists, educators, coaches, and mentors, creating a rich environment for discussion and feedback. If you are interested in working with us to engage with this community, please reach out and we would happily discuss this with you.
We hope to be in a position to welcome new studio holders soon. Keep an eye on our social media for updates, or join our newsletter to stay in the loop with events and news.
